They are ready now and hundreds are growing on the trees as we speak. (Please see photos of the trees that these will come from) These are organic as they were not given any kind of pesticides or anything at all. However, you may be able to do so for the larger size nuts. If you want them for this purpose, it is at your own risk and best to purchase in September, but please let us know up front so we can discuss availability and to know the proper nuts to pick. These still have their greenish/yellow husk. They may or may not start to show signs of ripening by the time they get to you. (The husk tends to start shriveling and darkening just a few days after being picked) They will eventually turn black. They are picked to order the next day after order is received (and shipped shortly after) so you should be ready to use them shortly after they arrive.
